Having resided in this beach-side community for a number of years, this young family was keen to stay in the same area but looking for a larger house to suit their growing needs. So after selling their property, they purchased a rundown beach shack for its ideal location only a few blocks away and knocked it down to build their dream home.<\/p>\n

The design of this house created large spans and cantilevers requiring the creative use of block work, steel and timber to ensure an aesthetically pleasing finish. This property benefits from a wide variety of materials including rendered block work, colorbond and hardy\u2019s linear board. The extensive use of glass and aluminum takes full advantage of natural light and provides that open airy feel we all love. Inside, the clean lines of the walls and ceilings are contrast by the use of natural stone tiles, high quality fittings and black butt timber flooring.<\/p>\n
