The young couple who had purchased this older style high set home felt that it lacked spaciousness. In engaging GOH Constructions to build a large deck off the living area, they were able to take advantage of the home’s elevation and north-east aspect whilst also positively contributing to their lifestyle.

Being a high-set home, the addition of a deck also created extra space underneath for GOH Constructions to incorporate a large laundry and drying area in place of what was once a small tired old laundry. We also removed a wall between the kitchen and lounge room to create more open plan living and better capture the natural breeze and view out over the deck and beyond.
